Solid brass gives our Brighter Days Pendant Lampshade Hexa its weight and its warmth, and we chose the material for good reason. Each shade is made from brass that keeps a bright, golden tone across its flat planes, catching the light differently as you move around the room. This is the Hexa size in our Brighter Days range, and at 0.3kg it hangs with a reassuring solidity that lighter shades never quite manage. We like how the brass ages gently over time, settling into a softer glow that suits both older homes and newer ones.

The form is faceted and angular, tapering to a point at the bottom, with clean flat planes rather than any curve or soft edge. At 8.7cm tall and 4.9cm across both width and depth, the Hexa is the largest of the three sizes we offer in this range, sitting alongside the smaller Penta and Quadra shapes. Its compact scale makes it well suited to a cluster hung above a dining table, or to a single pendant over a kitchen worktop where you want a little sparkle without a large shade taking over the space.
