Description
The Brick is an 18cm outdoor LED wall light with an integrated 10W 3000K LED housed in a graphite-finished aluminium and plastic enclosure, rated IP54 for protection against dust and rain splashes. The rectangular light panel sits at an angle to the mounting block, directing warm light across the wall surface and forward from the fitting.
Designed for installation on exterior walls adjacent to doors, along pathways, and on boundary walls where fixed low-level lighting is needed, the Brick mounts vertically or horizontally depending on the wall height and desired light spread. The IP54 rating makes it suitable for exposed locations under eaves, on porch walls, and at the sides of garage doors, but not for fully unprotected positions subject to direct driving rain or water jets.
The graphite finish is a mid-tone grey powder coat applied to aluminium body panels and a plastic diffuser frame, creating a matt surface that resists corrosion in coastal and urban environments. The rectangular light panel measures approximately 9cm wide by 18cm tall, providing enough illuminated surface area to light a 1.5-2m section of wall or pathway when mounted at standard door-height (1.8-2m). The 3000K LED colour temperature produces a warm white output comparable to halogen, rather than the cooler blue-white associated with 4000K+ exterior security lights.

Frequently Asked
Can this be used fully exposed to rain?
The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for installation under eaves, on covered porches, and on walls where some shelter is present. It is not rated for positions subject to direct water jets or submersion.
Does the LED need replacing?
The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED module is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use, which translates to around 10-15 years at typical residential usage levels of 4-6 hours per evening.
Can it be mounted horizontally as well as vertically?
Yes. The angled light panel works in both orientations, allowing horizontal installation along fascia boards or vertically beside doorframes depending on the wall space available and the desired light spread.
What cable entry does it use?
The fitting typically uses rear entry through a knockout on the mounting block. Mains cable should be run through conduit or appropriate outdoor-rated cable to the fitting location. See the product manual in the Downloads tab for detailed wiring diagrams.
