This playful floor lamp stacks a column of metal spheres finished in gloss marlin blue, topped with a 40cm Ripple shade in a matching blue faux linen. The handmade shade is gathered and pleated with a taped edge, and the colour runs from base to shade for a bold, tonal look. It stands 1540mm tall with a 400mm shade, so it gives a wide pool of light as well as a shot of colour. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 10W and suits an E27 LED lamp.

It is a good way to bring colour into a living room, a bedroom or a reading corner, where the marlin blue lifts a neutral scheme. The stacked spheres give it a fun, characterful shape, while the wide shade keeps the light soft and even over a chair or sofa.
