This outdoor wall light is a modern take on a classic lantern, with an open, no-glass side design that frames your chosen filament lamp in a strong, bold black outline. It is made from textured black painted, corrosion-resistant aluminium, and it uses a sealed lamp holder rated IP44 so the fitting is safe for outdoor use even without glass panels. It measures 270mm tall and 110mm wide, projecting 140mm from the wall, a compact size for a doorway or garden wall. It takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 10W, shown off by the open frame.

The Brenford suits front doors, porches, patios and garden walls where you want a clean, modern lantern shape and like the idea of the bulb on show. Because the sides are open rather than glazed, a decorative filament LED lamp becomes part of the look, so it is worth choosing a lamp you like unlit as well as lit.
