This chrome bathroom wall light pairs a clear glass shade with a polished chrome plate for a classic look that suits period and modern bathrooms alike. It stands 280mm tall and projects 200mm from the wall, a compact size that sits neatly beside a mirror or above a basin. A built-in pull cord switch gives you easy control without reaching for a separate wall plate, and the fitting takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 4W. Made from glass and steel, it has a solid, well weighted feel at 0.9kg and a shape that stays out of the way in a busy room.

The Bramworth carries an IP44 rating, which means it is protected against splashing water from any direction and can be fitted in the wetter zones of a bathroom, cloakroom or en suite. As a Class 1 fitting it connects to an earth, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician onto a suitable supply. It works well either side of a mirror as a matched pair, or on its own as a general wall light near a basin or shaving point. We would suggest a warm filament LED lamp to make the most of the clear glass and cast a soft, flattering light.

The clear glass shade and chrome plate are easy to keep looking their best; a wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all that is usually needed, and abrasive cleaners are best avoided as they can mark the plating.
