Description

The Brackmont is a single light pendant that pairs an authentic B22 brass flex set with a handmade green tapered fabric shade. The shade is gathered and pleated by hand from digitally printed faux silk in a Cotswold green, with taped edge detailing and a plain inner lining, so it adds a touch of colour overhead. It measures 400mm across, the whole fitting is light at around 0.9kg, and it hangs from a green braided cable with brushed aged brass metalwork.

This pendant suits a living room, a bedroom or a hallway where you want a hit of understated colour and a soft, warm light. The green shade and brushed brass reads considered and characterful, and a single one works over a bedside or a reading chair while a pair looks good either side of a bed. A single lamp keeps the light gentle, and the fitting is dimmable so you can set the level to suit the evening.

The green fabric cable adjusts the drop between 400 and 1600mm at installation, so you can hang it high or low. It is a Class 1 earthed fitting, so it needs an earth connection and is best installed by a qualified electrician, while its IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. It takes one B22 lamp of up to 6W, and it is compatible with B22 LED lamps. Dust the pleated shade gently with a soft brush and keep it dry, switching off at the wall first. The green fabric cable runs to around 1.5 metres, so you can hang the shade at just the right height beside a bed or a chair.
