Description

The Bowery is an outdoor wall light with a cylindrical black aluminium body housing a faceted geometric glass diffuser at the top. The IP54-rated fixture accepts a single GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately) and mounts to exterior walls via a rectangular backplate. The faceted glass creates a directional upward throw of light while the sealed construction keeps moisture and dust out of the lamp chamber.

Designed for residential entranceways, garage sides, garden walls and courtyard perimeters, the Bowery provides accent lighting rather than area flood. The upward light direction emphasises vertical surfaces and architectural features while keeping glare away from eye level. The 145mm height and 110mm projection suit standard mounting heights of 1.8-2.2m above ground level on brick, rendered block or timber cladding.

The powder-coated aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments, and the black finish sits neutrally against most exterior colour palettes. The geometric faceting on the glass diffuser catches daylight when the fitting is off, giving the fixture visual interest beyond its functional role. The AC 100-240V wide voltage range makes the Bowery compatible with UK mains and most international supply voltages without modification.

Upwards. The faceted glass diffuser sits at the top of the cylindrical body and directs light upward onto the wall above the fitting, providing accent lighting and architectural emphasis rather than downward area lighting.

What surfaces can it be mounted to?

The rectangular backplate fixes to brick, rendered masonry, timber cladding and exterior-grade plywood using appropriate fixings (not supplied). The mounting surface must be able to support the 1kg fixture weight and provide a weatherproof seal around the fixings.
