What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP65 means the bollard is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can withstand heavy rain, coastal spray and power-washing without water ingress into the electrical components. This makes it suitable for year-round outdoor installation in the UK climate.

How is the bollard installed and wired?

The Bonn requires a below-ground electrical supply cable run to each bollard position. A qualified electrician should install the bollard, connecting the AC 220-240V supply to the internal terminals and securing the base to a concrete foundation or ground spike. Can the LED be replaced if it fails?
