The Bolonia is a 52mm-diameter white cylinder pendant light with an integrated 10W LED that offers three switchable colour temperatures: 2700K extra warm white, 3000K warm white, and 4000K cool white. The colour temperature is selected via a wall switch during installation, allowing the light tone to be matched to different rooms or applications without needing separate fittings. The narrow 36° beam angle concentrates light downward, making it suitable for task lighting over kitchen islands, worktops, and hallway runs where focused rather than ambient light is needed.

Designed for modern residential and commercial interiors, the Bolonia suits kitchens with island or peninsula layouts, office corridors, retail counters, and contemporary hallways. The adjustable drop ranges from 450mm to 2000mm, accommodating standard 2.4m ceilings through to taller commercial spaces or double-height residential areas. Multiple Bolonia pendants are often installed in linear runs spaced 800-1000mm apart to create continuous task lighting across a worktop or counter run.

The white powder-coated aluminium cylinder presents as a single clean form with no visible seams or fixings when viewed from below. The matte white finish reflects diffused light back into the space while the downward beam delivers the primary illumination. At 600g the pendant is light enough for standard ceiling rose mounting without additional support, and the concealed cable suspension keeps the installation visually minimal. The LED outputs 1120-1230 lumens depending on the selected colour temperature, roughly equivalent to a 75-100W incandescent bulb in a focused beam.

What does CCT switchable mean?

The CCT function allows you to select one of three colour temperatures (2700K, 3000K, or 4000K) during installation by toggling the mains power on and off in sequence. Once set, the chosen colour temperature remains fixed until you change it using the same method. This is not a dimmer or remote control feature.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The drop adjusts from 450mm to 2000mm. For a standard 2.4m ceiling with the pendant over a worktop, a 450-600mm drop typically positions the light at an effective working height. Taller ceilings or pendant runs over dining tables benefit from longer drops to bring the light closer to the task surface.

Can multiple pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. The Bolonia is commonly installed in runs of 2-5 pendants spaced 800-1000mm apart to provide continuous task lighting over kitchen islands, counters, or hallway routes. Each pendant requires its own ceiling connection point.
