Description

The Boden is an outdoor wall light with a matt black rectangular frame, frosted glass diffuser and four horizontal steel bands across the outer face. The fitting carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust ingress and water splashes, making it suitable for covered and semi-exposed positions including front porches, rear patios, and under eaves.

The light mounts flat to the wall via a rectangular backplate and projects 102mm from the wall surface once installed. The frosted glass panel diffuses light from the single E27 bulb (sold separately) across a wider area, reducing glare and casting a softer wash onto adjacent walls and pathways. The horizontal steel bands add visual texture and break up the light output into layered bands rather than a single uniform glow.

At 310mm tall and 159mm wide, the Boden suits standard door frames, garage entrances and garden gates without overwhelming smaller walls. The matt black finish resists visible weathering better than gloss coatings and pairs with both traditional brick facades and contemporary render or cladding.
