Description

The Blow is a compact outdoor wall light built from a graphite-finished aluminium body with glass lenses top and bottom, housing an integrated 10W 3000K LED. The light casts bi-directionally—upward onto the wall surface above and downward onto the ground or paving below—creating a column of warm light against the facade without visible glare.

Designed for residential garden walls, patio areas, entrance porches and building facades where subtle accent lighting is needed without overpowering the space, the Blow measures just 11cm wide by 10cm tall, making it suited to narrow wall sections and positions where a larger fitting would dominate. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, suitable for standard UK outdoor exposure but not continuous submersion or driving rain from powerful jet washing.

The graphite finish is a dark grey powder-coated aluminium that resists corrosion and fading under UV exposure. The glass lenses are frosted to diffuse the LED output and prevent hard shadows while maintaining the upward and downward wash effect. The 10W LED output at 3000K provides warm white light comparable to a traditional halogen tone, and the integrated driver accepts AC 100-240V mains, making it compatible with UK residential wiring without additional transformers.

Yes. The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashing from any direction, making it suitable for standard UK garden walls, patio areas and building facades. It should not be installed in positions subject to continuous submersion or direct powerful jet washing.

The integrated LED operates on AC 100-240V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and whether it supports LED drivers. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

Can it be installed on a rendered or brick wall?

Yes. The Blow has a flat rear backplate with mounting points for fixing to masonry surfaces. Standard masonry fixings and waterproof cable entry are required during installation to maintain the IP54 rating.
