Description

The Bexley is an understated wall light that pairs a brushed plated arm with a faux silk fabric shade. It measures 200mm high, 150mm wide and projects 230mm from the wall, and weighs 0.5kg. A single E14 bulb up to 7W sits behind the shade, and it works with E14 LED bulbs. A simple on and off switch operates it, keeping the design clean and modern for everyday rooms.

This is an easy, low-key wall light for living rooms, landings and bedrooms, where its soft fabric shade gives a warm, diffused light. Fit one to light a corner or a pair either side of a bed or a fireplace. The understated shape and neutral shade let it sit quietly within a scheme rather than drawing attention, so it suits rooms where you want gentle background light without a bold fitting.

The arm comes in a matt nickel finish with a vintage white shade, or a dark antique bronze finish with a marble-effect faux silk shade. As a Class 1 earthed fitting it must be connected to the mains earth, and its IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. Matching pieces are available in the range for a co-ordinated look. To care for it, wipe the metal with a soft dry cloth and dust the shade gently, keeping damp and abrasive cleaners away from the fabric. The neutral shade and low projection make it an easy fit above a bedside table or along a landing, where a bulkier light would feel too heavy.
