Bevstead Pendant - Brass

The Bevstead is a small single pendant hung with clear cut lozenge-shaped glass drops that fall in a tiered cascade from a warm brass frame. The angled drops catch the light from every side for a bright, faceted glow, giving an Art Deco feel in a compact 210mm fitting. It takes one E27 lamp and hangs from a brushed aged brass plated frame. This is the single-light size, made for spots where you want sparkle overhead without a large pendant.

Small and neat, the Bevstead suits hallways, dining corners and reading nooks, and looks well hung as a pair over a kitchen island or either side of a bed. The clear glass drops keep it light and reflective, while the warm brass frame stops it feeling cold. It is a good pick if you like a touch of glamour but want a fitting that stays in proportion in a smaller room.

The frame is brushed aged brass plate, warm and softly aged, and the clear lozenge glass drops give the pendant its shine. The drop adjusts from 455mm to 1555mm on a 1.2 metre chain with clear cable, so it suits standard and taller ceilings. It is a Class 2 double insulated fitting, so it does not need an earth at the fitting, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms away from bathrooms. It is dimmable with a compatible trailing edge dimmer. Dust the glass drops and wipe the brass with a dry, soft cloth. Four and seven-light sizes, plus a linear version, complete the Bevstead range.

What lamp does it take?

It takes 1 x E27 lamp, not included. A decorative LED filament lamp shows off the clear glass drops and keeps running costs low.

Is it suitable as a pair?

Yes. Its compact 210mm size looks well hung in twos over an island or beside a bed.

How do I clean the glass drops?

Wipe the lozenge drops and the brass frame with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners that could dull the finish.

Does it come in larger sizes?

Yes. The design is also made as four-light and seven-light pendants and a four-light linear version.
