This is a wooden turned spindle floor lamp that takes a familiar shape from past design and gives it a fresh, colourful update. It stands 1380mm tall on a 300mm base and is sold as the lamp base, ready to pair with one of our 35cm or 40cm decorative fabric shades so you can build the look you want. It takes a single B22 lamp through a switched brass lamp holder, with a 2 metre grey braided fabric flex to a standard plug. The satin painted finish comes in pink clay, Cotswold green, marlin blue or almond white.

A spindle floor lamp like this brings colour and a classic silhouette into a living room, hallway or bedroom, working as a base you finish to taste with your chosen shade. Because you choose the shade separately, you can lean traditional with a plain drum or add pattern with a printed design. The four satin paint colours range from soft almond white to deeper marlin blue and Cotswold green, so there is a tone for calm and for bolder schemes alike. The Bevbury is a characterful piece with a hand made feel.

Each lamp is turned on a wood lathe by hand, so the grain and finish vary a little from piece to piece, part of the character of a natural material. The wood is sustainably sourced, and a switched brass B22 lamp holder with a 2 metre grey braided flex keeps things practical. The painted wood wipes clean with a soft dry cloth, and being a plug in lamp it needs no wiring once a B22 bulb is fitted. Choose your paint colour, add a 35cm or 40cm shade from the range, and fit a B22 LED lamp to keep the running cost low. It is an easy way to bring a coordinated splash of colour into a room.
