Description

The Bergamo is a 52cm flush ceiling light with a white metal frame and a cylindrical linen shade bonded to a PVC backing. The fitting houses three E27 bulb sockets rated at up to 60W each, set inside the drum shade to create diffused ambient light across the ceiling plane and downward into the room below. The 18cm projection from ceiling to base makes this suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and home offices where a flush-mount fitting is needed to avoid head clearance issues or maintain a clean ceiling line, the Bergamo provides ambient rather than task light. The three-bulb configuration spreads light more evenly than single-source flush fittings, reducing harsh shadows in square or rectangular rooms up to approximately 4m x 4m. The white-on-white finish pairs with neutral wall colours, light wood floors and both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors.

The linen shade diffuses the light from all three E27 bulbs while hiding the bulbs themselves from direct view when standing below the fitting. This reduces glare compared to open-bulb ceiling lights and gives a softer quality to the light in the room.
