Description
The Bellaro is a small alabaster column pendant with a 115mm diameter, 320mm shade carved from natural Spanish alabaster. Horizontal ridges wrap the cylinder in a rhythmic, ribbon-like texture, breaking the surface into layered bands that catch light differently to a smooth shade. A single E14 lamp socket sits inside the column, with a brushed brass perforated cap and a slim black stem joining the shade to the suspension cable above.
The compact 115mm diameter makes the Bellaro suited to closely spaced runs over kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in pairs over a bedside table, or used singly above a console, hallway niche or stairwell. The narrow column profile means several pendants can be installed in a row without visual crowding, and the slim drop suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The fitting takes any standard E14 bulb (sold separately).
Each alabaster column is cut from a single block of Spanish stone, so veining, mineral inclusions and tonal warmth vary between pieces. Lit from within, the textured ridges throw soft horizontal shadows down the length of the shade and the natural veining reads more clearly through the thinner sections of stone. The brushed brass cap is finished with vertical slotting that vents heat from the lamp and adds a fine detail at the top of the column, contrasted by the matt black stem between the brass and the alabaster.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Bellaro take?
The fitting takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K pairs well with the alabaster, allowing the natural veining and horizontal texture to show through clearly when lit.
Can it be hung in a row over a kitchen island?
Yes. The narrow 115mm diameter is well suited to multi-pendant installations over kitchen islands and breakfast bars. As a guide, space pendants 600-750mm apart centre-to-centre and hang them so the base of the shade sits 700-800mm above the worktop.
Does each alabaster column look the same?
No. Each shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal warmth and mineral inclusions differ between pieces. The horizontal ridge texture is consistent across the range, but the stone itself is unique to each pendant.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe the shade gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid soaking the stone, and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners on either the alabaster shade or the brass cap.
