Description

This wall light makes a feature of decorative clear glass rods, which catch and diffuse the light to create an inviting, softly broken glow. Set on a compact plated backplate, the rods give the fitting a bright, jewel-like quality without being fussy. It is a small, shallow light at 276mm tall and 195mm wide, projecting just 100mm from the wall, so it sits close and tidy. It takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 6W, and at 0.7kg it is easy to mount in most spots.

The shallow projection makes the Beaumont handy for hallways, landings and other tight spaces where a deeper fitting would get in the way. It also works well either side of a mirror or bed, where the glass rods add a little sparkle to a dressing area or bedroom. The dimmable driver means you can keep it low as gentle background light or bring it up when you need more. Antique brass or polished nickel lets you match the fitting to warm or cool metal accents nearby.

The glass rods and plated metalwork wipe clean with a soft dry cloth, and a gentle going-over now and then keeps the rods bright and clear. The IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor rooms only, and as a Class 1 fitting it needs an earth connection, so a qualified electrician is the safest route for wiring.
