Description

The Beacon Square is a white outdoor chain lantern with a square-section composite body framing four panels of clear hammered glass. The 299mm-tall lantern houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind the rippled glass, which diffuses the light across the surface. The white finish is applied to a composite material that resists UV degradation, saltwater spray and moisture intrusion to IP44 standard.

Designed for coastal and exposed installations, the lantern hangs on a 1000mm chain that allows drop adjustment between 377mm and 1336mm from the ceiling rose to the base of the fixture. This makes it suitable for covered porches, pergola beams, and entrance canopies where the lantern needs to sit 600-900mm below the ceiling. The E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose filament, LED or halogen light sources depending on the required warmth and brightness.

The composite construction weighs less than equivalent metal lanterns while offering better corrosion resistance in humid, salty or high-UV environments. The clear hammered glass provides visual texture without reducing light output, and the square profile fits cleanly into grid-based architecture and modernised craftsman styles.
