Description

The Barbican is a 650mm table lamp built around a sculpted ceramic base in a graphite finish, topped with a 300mm diameter silver faux silk drum shade and a polished nickel finial. The ceramic base carries a faceted geometric surface that creates shadow and depth under the light, with each diamond-shaped indent catching the ambient light from the room.

Designed for bedside tables, desks and console tables in living rooms or hallways, the lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and casts soft, diffused light through the faux silk shade. The 340mm base height positions the shade at a comfortable level for reading when placed on a bedside table, with the bulb sitting approximately 500mm above the surface. The graphite ceramic and silver shade combination pairs with both warm and cool interior tones.

The textured ceramic base provides a matte, tactile surface that contrasts with the smooth sheen of the silver faux silk shade. The polished nickel finial at the top adds a metallic accent that ties back to the silver shade, creating a three-tone composition of graphite, silver and nickel.
