Description

The Bangkok is a 25cm pendant light built from a grey-tinted glass dome suspended on a black metal canopy and cable assembly. An integrated 12W LED sits inside the dome at 3000K colour temperature, casting warm light through the grey glass which softens and diffuses the output across the surrounding space.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bedside positions where directed downlight is needed without harsh glare, the Bangkok pairs the visual weight of the glass dome with the minimal vertical profile of the black metal canopy above it. The cable is height-adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set anywhere from 578mm to 3480mm drop depending on ceiling height and room proportion. For kitchen islands the dome typically sits 700-800mm above the worktop, while bedside positions may use a shorter drop of 600-900mm from the ceiling.

The grey tint on the glass creates a smoky, semi-transparent finish that hides the internal LED components when the light is off and reduces the brightness of the light source when on, preventing direct view of the LED array from below. The black metal canopy, cable sleeve and internal fittings give a monochrome palette that pairs comfortably with industrial, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors.
