The Bangkok is a 25cm diameter LED pendant light combining a black metal canopy and rod with a clear glass dome shade. An integrated 12W LED at 3000K sits inside the dome, casting warm light through the clear glass while a central black rod extends through the shade, creating a layered geometric profile when viewed from below.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and hallway runs with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.4m, the Bangkok suits installations where the pendant needs to be visible without dominating the space. The adjustable cable allows the drop to range from 57.8cm to 348cm, so the light can be set 70-80cm above a dining surface or higher for ambient use in entrance halls. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The clear glass dome measures 25cm across and sits on a black metal gallery ring, with the central rod extending down through the shade to a black finial at the base. Is the Bangkok dimmable?

The integrated 12W LED operates on 220-240V AC mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer circuit — contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with the LED driver.

What ceiling height does it need?

The adjustable cable allows drops from 57.8cm to 348cm. For a dining table or kitchen island, the pendant typically sits 70-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. Lower ceilings can accommodate the Bangkok if the cable is shortened during installation.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is rated for dry indoor use only and is not protected against moisture. It should not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.

How is the glass shade cleaned?

The clear glass dome can be wiped with a standard glass cleaner or a damp microfibre cloth. Switch off the power before cleaning and allow the LED to cool. The black metal components can be wiped with a dry cloth to remove dust.
