Can it be mounted upside-down?

The lantern is designed to be mounted with the bracket at the top and the tapered glass cage hanging below. Mounting it inverted would allow water to pool on the top glass panel rather than shedding naturally, risking seal failure over time.

How is the glass cleaned?

The bevelled glass panels can be cleaned with a standard glass cleaner and microfibre cloth. For maintenance, remove the bulb first, spray the cleaner onto the cloth rather than directly onto the glass, and wipe the panels from inside and outside to remove any salt, dust or pollen build-up.
