Aurum 6 Light Crystal Chandelier - Chrome

The Aurum is a 555mm diameter crystal chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with six G9 bulb fittings arranged around a central hub. Cut crystal droplets hang in cascading tiers below the frame, while additional strands of smaller crystals radiate outwards on curved metal arms, creating a multi-layered light-catching structure. The chrome finish on the metalwork provides a cool silver tone that contrasts with the clear crystal.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living areas with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Aurum sits 300mm deep from canopy to lowest crystal point when suspended at minimum drop. The 555mm diameter makes it suitable for rooms 3.5-4.5m square, positioning over a dining table or as a centrepiece in an entrance hall. The six G9 bulbs (sold separately) provide directional light through the crystal, which refracts and multiplies the light output across the room. Dimmable with compatible G9 LED bulbs and a suitable dimmer.

The crystal elements are precision-cut with faceted edges that catch and split light into colour spectra when the chandelier is lit. The polished chrome arms and central framework add structural definition without dominating the crystal itself. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor environments only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor covered porches.

What bulbs does the Aurum take?

The chandelier uses six G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair it with G9 LED bulbs in 3-5W output and 2700K-3000K warm white for dining and living spaces. Check the maximum wattage rating on the fitting label before installing bulbs.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible LED dimmer switch. Non-dimmable G9 bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer. Confirm bulb compatibility before purchasing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 300mm drop from canopy to lowest crystal point works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. When suspended over a dining table, allow at least 700-800mm clearance between the table surface and the bottom of the chandelier to avoid head obstruction when seated.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal droplet and strand with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal fittings or allowing water to run into the bulb sockets.
