Description
The Aurora is a 720mm crystal chandelier with twelve E14 candle bulbs arranged across two tiers of chrome-plated metal arms. Each arm carries multiple strands of cut crystal droplets that hang in graduated lengths, creating a cascading curtain of crystal beneath the central frame. The chrome plating covers both the structural frame and the twisted column that forms the central drop.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Aurora provides both ambient light through the twelve bulbs and decorative sparkle through the crystal refractions. The 650mm height from canopy to lowest crystal point means the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above a dining table in a standard 2.7m room, or can be adjusted on the ceiling chain to suit higher ceilings. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor locations.
The crystal droplets are facet-cut to refract light in multiple directions when the bulbs are lit, turning the chandelier into a light source rather than just a decorative object. The chrome finish on the metal frame provides a cooler, more contemporary tone than brass or gold alternatives, pairing well with grey, white and cool-toned interiors. The fitting requires twelve E14 bulbs (sold separately), allowing choice of LED filament, frosted LED or traditional candle bulbs depending on the light quality and aesthetic preferred.
The Aurora carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux and is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable E14 bulbs. The crystal droplets are individual pieces hung on wire loops, so the chandelier arrives partially disassembled and requires fitting the crystals onto the frame during installation. This is typical of crystal chandeliers in this class and takes approximately 30-45 minutes once the metal frame is wired and mounted.

Frequently Asked
Are the bulbs included?
No. The Aurora requires twelve E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this chandelier with LED filament or frosted LED bulbs between 4-6W each for a combined output of around 600-700 lumens.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, the fitting itself is dimmable. You will need to use dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check bulb specifications before purchase.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 650mm drop from canopy to lowest crystal suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In a dining room the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, which works in standard-height rooms. The chain length can be adjusted during installation to suit higher ceilings.
How are the crystals fitted?
The chandelier arrives with the metal frame and crystals separately packaged. The crystals attach to the frame via wire loops during installation, typically taking 30-45 minutes once the frame is wired and mounted to the ceiling.
