Description

Light glides across our White Sands oak top, catching the soft rounded edges of this tv bench and settling into the fluted tambour that runs along its front. It is low and long, so morning and evening light travels the full 140cm width without interruption. The pale, sandy tone of the oak keeps the surface bright and open, a calm resting place for a table lamp base, a row of books or the everyday clutter that gathers near the screen. At 40cm high, it sits at an easy level for both viewing and reaching.

The body itself is built to be handled and used. The sliding tambour doors curve with the rounded shape rather than sitting flat, so nothing juts out and the whole piece reads as one continuous form. Four round tapered legs lift it clear of the floor, which makes cleaning underneath simple and gives the 18.75kg frame a light footing. Inside, each shelf takes an even load of up to 15kg, while the top holds up to 120kg when weight is spread across the surface.

We hold this bench to the EN 16121 and EN 16122 furniture standards, and the textile carries both the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, so you know what has gone into it. Measuring 46cm deep, it tucks neatly against a wall or floats in a room without dominating it. Assembly takes around 30 minutes with the parts and fixings we supply.
