Description

Our Hazelnut finish gives this tv bench a warm mid-brown tone that settles easily into a living room, reading softly against pale walls and picking up the natural grain of the wood beneath. We chose it because it works with the colours most of us already live with, from grey sofas to cream rugs, without demanding that the rest of the room reorganise itself around it. The oak brings its own gentle depth here, so the surface has real character rather than a flat wash of colour, and we think it holds its own whether your scheme leans light and airy or a little darker and more grounded.

The form is what makes it worth a second look. This is a long, low bench with a rounded body and fluted tambour sliding doors that draw across the front, and it sits on four round tapered legs that lift it clear of the floor. The tambour detailing runs in soft vertical ribs, so the front is never flat, and the sliding action means you gain access without doors swinging out into the room. At 140cm wide, 40cm high and 46cm deep, it gives you a generous top for a television alongside a lamp or two, while the concealed shelving keeps boxes and cables tidied away behind.
