Description

Our Sugar Brown finish brings a warm, grounded softness to a space, a gentle mid-toned brown that settles quietly against pale walls and works just as happily alongside deeper, moodier palettes. We chose it to sit comfortably in a living room or hallway without demanding all the attention, letting the natural oak grain read through as a subtle texture. Across a long, low body it gives this sideboard a calm presence, the kind of piece we like to place beneath a row of framed prints or under a pair of table lamps.

The form is what gives it character. It has a rounded body and fluted tambour sliding doors, so the front carries a rhythm of vertical ridges that catch the light as you move past. It stands on four round tapered legs that lift it clear of the floor and keep the whole thing feeling light despite its 160cm width. Made from solid oak, polyester, MDF and leather (artificial), it measures 67.1cm in height and 50cm in depth, and weighs 42.5kg once assembled. The sliding doors mean you can open one side without clearing space in front, which we find useful in tighter hallways where a hinged door would get in the way.

Inside, each shelf takes a maximum load of 15kg, while the top surface holds up to 50kg when weight is spread evenly across it, so a lamp, a stack of books and a few ceramics all sit safely. We put assembly at around 20 to 25 minutes, and the piece carries the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® markings, which matters to us when it comes to the materials we use.
