Light plays beautifully across our Audacious Oak Highboard, catching the vertical grooves of its fluted tambour doors and softening the rounded body they wrap around. We chose this Shadow colour for its quiet depth, a muted tone that sits calmly against oak and lets the wood grain read through rather than hide beneath it. As daylight shifts through a room, the ridges of the tambour throw gentle shade lines that keep the surface feeling alive, and by evening a nearby lamp base picks out the same texture in a warmer, closer glow. It is a piece we return to when we want storage that holds its own without shouting.

Standing 100cm tall on four round tapered legs, this highboard measures 120cm wide and 50cm deep, giving you a generous top and a roomy interior behind those curved doors. At 28.9kg it feels grounded and steady, yet the raised legs keep the whole form light on its feet rather than heavy against the floor. The internal shelves take up to 15kg each when weight sits evenly across them, while the top surface holds up to 50kg, so it copes happily with books, glassware, a record player or a cluster of ceramics.

It works hard in the spaces where we ask the most of our furniture, whether that is a hallway, a dining area or a living room wall that needs proper closed storage.
