Description

Our Sterling tv bench asks for just 30 minutes of assembly, so you can have it settled beneath your screen the same afternoon it arrives. It measures 140cm wide, 40cm high and 46cm deep, with a weight of 18.75kg that keeps it steady once in place. The top holds up to 120kg when evenly distributed, while each internal shelf takes up to 15kg, giving you room for a console, a soundbar and the bits and pieces that gather around a television. It is designed to sit low and long, the natural line for a room built around comfortable viewing.

The Dark Oak body carries a rounded profile rather than a flat front, and we finished it in a soft Sterling grey that settles quietly against most walls. Fluted tambour doors slide across the front, their vertical grooves catching the light and hiding cables and clutter behind them. Four round tapered legs lift the whole piece clear of the floor, which keeps the look light and makes cleaning underneath simple. It is made from solid oak and oak veneer over an MDF core, with steel fittings, and the tambour draws on the Horizons S materials in polyester and artificial leather.

We hold this tv bench to the EN 16121 and EN 16122 furniture standards, and the textile elements meet the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, so you know what has gone into it and how it has been tested. Kept indoors in a living room or snug, it gives you honest storage with a matt, understated finish. We think it earns its place under the screen and holds it for years.
