Morning light glides across our Dark Oak side table and settles into the fluted tambour drum, catching each groove so the surface never reads as flat. This is a small round piece that earns its place beside a sofa or armchair, giving you somewhere to rest a book, a cup or a table lamp base without crowding the room. In Sugar Brown, the finish carries a warm, gentle tone that we chose to sit comfortably against both pale and darker interiors. At 38cm in diameter and 59.3cm tall, it slots into corners and narrow gaps where a larger table would feel heavy.

The tambour body wraps around a form that rests on four round tapered legs, and below the top sits an open shelf that keeps a second layer of storage within easy reach.
