Description
Light plays gently across the rounded body of our Audacious Dark Oak Highboard, catching the vertical grooves of the fluted tambour doors and giving the whole piece a soft, tactile presence. This highboard draws the eye upward, with its tall proportions and gently curved front softening the corners of a room. The warm depth of the Dark Oak sits beautifully against the calm White Sands shade, and we love how the surface reflects natural daylight during the day and lamplight after dark. Standing on four round tapered legs, it feels grounded yet light, never boxy or flat.
At 120cm wide, 100cm tall and 50cm deep, this highboard offers generous storage without dominating the space, and at 28.9kg it stays manageable when you need to reposition it. Inside, each shelf holds up to 15kg, while the top surface takes up to 50kg, provided the weight is spread evenly across it. That makes it a practical home for glassware, books, folded linens or a run of your favourite ceramics. Assembly takes around 30 minutes, so you will have it in place before long.
To keep the finish looking its best, we suggest wiping the surfaces with a soft, dry cloth and avoiding harsh cleaners that could dull the matt tones. The White Sands colour works well in both bright, airy rooms and cosier corners, and we find it pairs naturally with soft grey textiles, warm brass hardware and a few trailing plants. Set it against a plain wall to let the fluted doors take centre stage, or place it in a hallway where the rounded form softens the walk-through.
