Description
Light plays across our fluted tambour doors, catching each ridge as it curves around the rounded body of this tv bench. The top is a generous surface, ready to hold whatever your evening calls for, from a screen to a table lamp base whose glow settles softly into the room. In Black Oak with a Sterling finish, it reads as a calm grey-toned piece that we think anchors a living space without pulling focus. The low, long shape keeps sightlines open, so the bench feels grounded rather than bulky.
At 140cm wide, 46cm deep and just 40cm high, it gives you room to arrange your media kit and still leave space to breathe. The two sliding tambour doors glide back to reveal storage behind, with a maximum load of 15kg per shelf when weight is spread evenly. The top takes up to 120kg, again distributed across the surface, so we are happy for it to carry a screen and a few well-loved objects at once. Four round tapered legs lift the whole thing clear of the floor, which we find makes a room feel lighter and easier to clean around.
It meets the EN 16121 and EN 16122 furniture standards, and carries Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® accreditation, so the materials we chose are held to account. It weighs 18.75kg and takes around 30 minutes to assemble at home. Keep it indoors, where its warm oak grain and quiet Sterling tone can settle in properly for us.

Frequently Asked
What is this tv bench made from?
It is made from solid oak, oak veneer and MDF, with steel, polyester from the Horizons S range and artificial leather. The fluted tambour sliding doors are finished in Black Oak with a Sterling colour.
How much can it hold?
The top takes a maximum load of 120kg and each shelf takes up to 15kg. These figures apply when the weight is spread evenly across the surface.
Will it fit my space and my television?
The tv bench measures 140cm wide, 46cm deep and 40cm high, so allow for that footprint plus room to reach the tambour doors. Check that your television stand or feet sit comfortably within the 140cm width.
How do I care for the tambour doors?
Wipe the fluted tambour and the oak surfaces with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, then dry them straight away. Avoid harsh cleaners so the veneer and Sterling finish are not damaged.
How long does assembly take?
Assembly takes around 30 minutes. The tv bench weighs 18.75kg, so a second pair of hands makes fitting the four round tapered legs easier.
Does it meet recognised standards?
Yes, it is made to the EN 16121 and EN 16122 furniture standards. The textiles also hold the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certification.
