Description

Our Sterling colourway brings a soft, silvery grey to this cabinet, a shade that settles quietly into a room without demanding attention. We find it works beautifully against pale walls and darker floors alike, lending a calm, considered feel to a hallway, living room or bedroom. Paired with the Black Oak used throughout the piece, the Sterling tones give a gentle contrast that keeps things grounded, and we think it suits homes where you want a little warmth without heavy, saturated colour. It is a finish that plays well with metal accents, greenery and the muted textiles we love to see in a lived-in space.

The form is what makes us return to this design. It is a low cabinet with a rounded rectangular body, and the fluted tambour doors slide rather than swing, wrapping across the front and curving round both ends. That continuous ribbed detail catches the light along its length and softens every corner, so there are no sharp edges to work around. It rests on four round tapered legs that lift the body clear of the floor and keep the whole thing feeling light. Built from solid oak, oak veneer, MDF, steel, polyester and artificial leather, it is made to be handled daily, and we hold it to the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

At 67cm high, 100cm wide and 50cm deep, it fits neatly beneath a window or along a shorter wall, and the top is a natural spot for a table lamp base or a stack of books. Each internal shelf takes up to 15kg, while the top surface holds up to 50kg when the weight is spread evenly across it. The cabinet weighs 19.3kg, and we have kept assembly to around 30 minutes so you can put it to use the same day it arrives.
