Description

Finished in a deep matt black, our Asteria Up Plus Ceiling Light Mini brings a grounded, quiet weight to a room, settling into the ceiling rather than competing with everything below it. The black tone reads as considered and calm, working well against pale plaster, warm timber or darker painted ceilings where a lighter finish might disappear. Because it sits flush and close to the surface, we find it suits rooms with lower ceilings or spaces where a hanging fitting would feel too busy, giving you clean overhead light without any visual clutter.

The form is simple and deliberate: a flat circular disc mounted close to the ceiling with a short central boss, so it stays low and neat overhead. At 31 × 11cm and weighing just 2.4kg, this Mini size is easy to handle and works over a hallway, a small bedroom or a reading corner where you want steady, useful light. It is made from steel and PS, and as a surface mounted lamp it fixes directly to the ceiling with no drop. We have kept assembly to around 15 minutes, and it carries CE and UKCA marking for indoor use along with an IP2X rating.

For light, there is a built-in 21W LED panel with an ambient top light, giving a soft upward glow as well as the main downward spread, and it produces 1500 lumen with selectable colour temperatures of 2400K, 2700K and 3000K so you can set a warmer or cooler mood to suit the space. It is dimmable with an external dimmer, letting you soften the output through the evening.
