Description

Made from steel and PS, our Asteria Up Plus Ceiling Light Large in Anthracite is built to sit flush and quiet against the ceiling. It is a flat circular disc mounted close overhead, with a short central boss and no dome or hanging drop, so the fitting stays low and unobtrusive in the room. The deep anthracite colour gives us a grounded, muted finish that settles easily into darker schemes and works just as well against pale plaster, while the surface mounted form keeps the whole piece neat where the ceiling and light meet.

At 60 by 21cm and weighing 7.1kg, this is the largest size we offer in the range, and we have set it up to deliver plenty of light across a wider space. The 30W LED panel gives 2200 lumen and includes an ambient top light, and we cover the warm-to-neutral spread of 2400K, 2700K and 3000K so you can pick the tone that suits the room. With a CRI of 94, colours read true beneath it, and the lamp is dimmable when paired with an external dimmer, letting us take the level right down for a softer evening glow. It carries CE and UKCA marking for indoor use and an IP2X rating.

Assembly takes us around fifteen minutes, and once fitted the flat disc keeps a low, tidy profile overhead. We would place it centrally in a living room, kitchen or hallway where the anthracite reads as a soft grey against a lighter ceiling and a firmer, matt shadow against a bolder one. To care for it, wipe the steel surface with a dry or barely damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners.
