Description

The polished steel finish is what draws us to our Asteria Short Monochrome Wall Light, catching the light with a cool, reflective sheen that brightens a corner or hallway without weighing it down. We like how the single-finish design keeps things calm, with the wall plate, short arm and flat disc shade all sharing the same polished steel tone. It reads as clean and modern against pale walls, while against a darker paint it adds a bright accent that lifts the whole space. The compact form suits bedsides, reading nooks and narrow landings where a larger fitting would feel too much.

This is the hardwired version, so no cable is on show and the lamp sits flush and tidy against the wall. It gives out 500 lumen from a built-in 12W LED panel, with a warm 2700K colour and a high CRI of 91, so the light feels soft and true rather than harsh. The lamp is dimmable, which lets us set the brightness to suit the moment, whether that is a low glow in the evening or a fuller light for reading. Rated for over 50000 lighting hours, it is built to keep going for years, and we back it with a 10-year warranty. To keep the polished steel looking its best, we suggest a wipe with a soft, dry cloth to lift any dust or fingerprints. Fit a pair either side of a bed or space several along a hallway for a considered, monochrome look throughout.
