Description

Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, our Asteria Short LED Wall Light brings a clean, compact shape to a hallway, bedside or reading nook. A round wall plate carries a short straight arm, which holds a flat circular disc shade just 15cm in diameter. The Steel finish gives the fitting a soft grey lustre, while the Nuance Orange colour warms the disc with a gentle, glowing tone. At 9.6cm high and 25cm deep, it sits close to the wall and takes up very little room, so we find it works well where a larger fitting would feel too much.

Because this is the Plug-In version, there is no wiring in required. A black fabric cable runs down from the wall plate to a plug, and the box includes a 2.2m black cord, so you simply mount the fitting and connect it to the nearest socket. That makes it a straightforward choice for rented rooms or any spot where we would rather not call an electrician. Assembly takes around 10 minutes. The built-in 12W panel gives 500 lumen at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 91 for true, flattering colour rendering. It is dimmable, so you can drop the light low for evenings or bring it up for a task. Rated for 50000 hours, the panel should last many years before it needs attention. The light carries CE, UKCA, WEEE and IP2X markings, and we back it with our 10-year warranty. It weighs very little and, once mounted, gives a quietly useful pool of light beside a bed, a chair or a hall table.
