Description

Fully dimmable, our Asteria Short LED Wall Light gives you complete control over how much warm light fills a room, from a soft glow beside the bed to a brighter pool for reading. The 12W built-in panel produces 500 lumen at a cosy 2700K, and with a CRI of 91 the colours around it stay true and natural. Because this is a plug-in fitting, there is no wiring in required at all. A black fabric cable runs down from the round wall plate to a plug, so you simply mount the light and switch it on, which makes it ideal for renters or anywhere a socket sits within easy reach.

We have kept the shape clean and compact. A round wall plate carries a short straight arm that holds a flat circular disc shade, measuring 15cm in diameter and standing just 9.6cm high, with a depth of 25cm including the arm. Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic in our Nuance Olive colour over a steel core, it has a soft, muted finish that settles easily against pale or deep walls alike. The 2.2m black cord is included, and assembly takes around 10 minutes, so you can have it up and glowing the same afternoon.

The matt Nuance Olive tone works well in a hallway, beside a mirror or in pairs across a bed, and the compact disc keeps the profile close to the wall where space is tight. We back every Asteria with a 10-year warranty, and the panel is rated for 50000 light hours, so it will keep working for years without a bulb change. The fitting carries CE, UKCA, WEEE and IP2X markings and is intended for indoor use. To keep it looking its best, we suggest an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
