Our Asteria Short casts a soft, warm glow from its flat circular disc shade, throwing 500 lumen across the wall at a comfortable 2700K. It is designed as a plug-in fitting, so a black fabric cable runs down from the round wall plate to a plug and there is no wiring in to worry about. The short straight arm holds the disc close to the plate, giving you a compact wall light that suits a spot beside the bed, along a hallway or above a reading chair. At just 15cm in diameter and 9.6cm tall, it sits neatly without crowding the space around it, and the built-in 12W panel is dimmable, so you can soften the light to match the hour.

We have finished this piece in warm brass with a Nuance Rose disc, a gentle pairing that reads as calm and understated rather than loud. The fitting is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it arrives with a 2.2m black cord so you can position it where a socket allows.
