Description

Fitting our Asteria Short LED Wall Light takes around 10 minutes, and because it is hardwired there is no visible cable on the outside of the fitting once it is in place. It connects directly to your mains supply, so we would ask you to refer to the hardwire user guide for full instructions on wiring it safely. A round wall plate holds a short straight arm that carries a flat circular disc shade, and this disc sits parallel to the wall for a low, tidy profile. At 15cm in diameter, 9.6cm high and 27.8cm deep, it keeps close to the wall while still casting light where you want it.

The built-in 12W panel gives 500 lumen at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 91 for accurate colour rendering, and it is rated for 50000 light hours. This lamp is dimmable, so we find it works equally well as gentle bedside light or as a brighter reading source when you turn it up. It carries CE, UKCA, WEEE and IP2X markings and is intended for indoor use, and we back it with a 10-year warranty. Our Asteria is one option within a wider range, and this particular light is finished in Pearl White over a Steel core.

This piece is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and the Pearl White finish gives the disc shade a soft, clean look that suits most walls without drawing too much attention to itself. The flat disc and short arm make it a good choice for hallways, alcoves and either side of a bed, where a deep fitting would feel intrusive.
