Description

Across our Asteria wall light range we stock two core colours and six shade colours, and this is the version we reach for when we want warmth without fuss: a brass core finished in soft Pearl White. It arrives as a single specification. A round wall plate holds a short straight arm that carries a flat circular disc shade, sitting parallel to the wall at a compact 15cm diameter. Because it is hardwired, no cable shows on the outside of the fitting, giving us a clean line from plate to shade that our US customers might call a wall sconce.

The light itself is a 12W built-in panel that gives 500 lumen at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 91 so colours in the room read naturally. It is dimmable, which lets us take it from a gentle bedside glow to a brighter reading level, and the panel is rated for 50000 light hours. It is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it measures 9.6cm high with a depth of 27.8cm from the wall. It is marked CE, UKCA, WEEE and IP2X for indoor use, and we back it with a 10-year warranty. Assembly takes around 10 minutes, and we ask you to follow the hardwire user guide for the wiring steps.

The Pearl White disc keeps things quiet and soft against the brass core, so it settles easily beside a bed, along a hallway or either side of a mirror. To keep the finish looking its best, we suggest a dry or barely damp soft cloth and nothing abrasive. If you are pairing a couple of these, the flat disc profile sits neatly at eye height and throws its light forward and down, which is why we like it wherever a low, warm pool of light works harder than a bright overhead.
