Description

Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, our Asteria Short LED Wall Light brings a clean, geometric shape to walls that need a compact source of light. A round wall plate holds a short straight arm, which carries a flat circular disc shade sitting parallel to the wall. The brass core gives the fitting a warm metallic quality, while the black colour keeps the overall look grounded and understated. At 15cm in diameter with a height of 9.6cm and a depth of 27.8cm, we have kept the proportions small so it fits comfortably beside a bed, in a hallway or either side of a mirror.

This is a hardwired fitting, so no cable is visible on the outside once installed, giving you a tidy finish against the wall. The built-in 12W panel produces 500 lumen at a warm 2700K, and with a CRI of 91 the light renders colours faithfully across the room. The lamp is dimmable, so you can soften the level for quieter evenings or bring it up when you need more brightness. Rated for around 50000 light hours, it is built to keep working for years, and we back it with a 10-year warranty. It carries CE, UKCA, WEEE and IP2X markings and is intended for indoor use. Please refer to the hardwire user guide before you begin, and allow roughly ten minutes for assembly.

The black finish over the brass core suits both pared-back and warmer interiors, and the flat disc shade throws a soft, even glow rather than a harsh point of light. We think a matching pair works well flanking a headboard or a mantelpiece, though a single fitting is enough to mark a doorway or reading nook. To care for it, wipe the surfaces gently with a dry, soft cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners so the finish stays looking its best.
