Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, our Asteria Plus Pendant Light Mini brings together simple materials in a shape we keep coming back to. This is the Mini size, standing 10.5cm tall with a diameter of 31cm and weighing just 1.7kg, so it hangs neatly without dominating the room. The form is a plain flat circular disc with a smooth top and a straight rim, held by a slim central stem, and its Brass Top adds a warm point of interest against the Forest Green finish. We finish it in a deep, grounded green that works as easily in a quiet corner as it does above a kitchen worktop.

The light comes from a built-in 18W LED panel giving 1200 lumen at a warm 3000K, with a CRI of 93 for colour that reads true. Rated for around 25000 hours, it is a lamp you can leave on through long evenings without a second thought, and it is dimmable with an external dimmer if you want to soften the glow. We supply it with a 2.7m black textile cord, and because it is compatible with track lighting you can build it into a wider run if that suits your space. Assembly takes around 10 minutes, so you will have it up and working the same afternoon it arrives.
