Description

Compact kitchens, cosy reading nooks and hallway corners all benefit from our Asteria Plus Pendant Light Mini, and this version arrives in a warm Ruby Red that brings a little colour overhead without dominating the room. It is a simple pendant light with a plain flat circular disc that sits slightly larger than its slim central stem, giving a smooth top and a straight rim that reads as neat rather than fussy. At 31cm across and just 10.5cm tall, the Mini keeps its footprint modest, so we find it works well over a small dining table, a kitchen island or a bedside spot where a fuller fitting would feel too heavy.

The disc conceals an 18W built-in LED panel that gives 1200 lumen, and with a CRI of 93 the light stays true to the colours of whatever sits beneath it. The light source is rated for around 25000 hours, and it runs at a warm 3000K that suits evenings and relaxed spaces. It is dimmable with an external dimmer, so you can soften the output when you want a calmer mood. The fitting is also compatible with track lighting, which makes it easy for us to recommend as part of a wider layout, and it weighs only 1.7kg. Assembly takes around 10 minutes.

Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, the lamp includes a 2.7m black textile cord that carries the Black Top neatly through to the ceiling. The Ruby Red finish pairs happily with pale walls, natural wood and warmer metals, though it holds its own against darker schemes too.
