Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, our Asteria Plus Pendant Light Medium brings together sturdy materials with a considered LED build. This pendant light takes the form of a plain flat circular disc, its top smooth and its rim straight, held by a slim central stem that keeps the profile low and quiet. The disc is finished in Nuance Rose, a soft warm tone that sits well against both pale and darker interiors, while the metal top adds a brass note that catches the light without shouting for attention. At 43cm in diameter and just 14cm tall, it reads as broad and calm rather than bulky, and it weighs 2.9kg, so it stays manageable overhead.

The light itself is where we put the detail. A 28W LED panel is built in, giving 1600 lumen at a warm 3000K, with a colour rendering index of 96 that shows the tones in a room accurately. Rated for 25000 hours of use, it is made to run for years, and it works with an external dimmer when you want to soften the level for the evening. A 2.7m black textile cord comes included, so you have room to set the hanging height above a dining table, a kitchen island or a reading corner.
