Standing 30.6cm tall with a 20cm diameter base, our Asteria Move Monochrome Portable Lamp gives you cordless light that goes wherever you need it. At just 1.1kg, it is easy to lift and reposition, and the built-in lithium-ion battery means no trailing cable once it is charged. This portable lamp is built around a flat disc top that sits on a slim stem over a round base, so the light falls gently downward rather than glaring outward. The Sunflower colour gives the steel, aluminium and PMMA a warm, cheerful tone that reads well on a desk, a shelf or a bedside table.

Four light steps let us match the brightness to the moment. Step one gives a soft 5 lumen glow that runs for up to 168 hours between charges, while step two offers 20 lumen for around 50 hours. Step three lifts things to 50 lumen for roughly 20 hours, and step four reaches a full 100 lumen for about 10 hours. The built-in LED panel has a CRI of 81, so colours around it stay true and natural. Charging is straightforward too: we include a USB-C cable and power adaptor, and it also sits happily on a Qi compatible wireless charger if you have one, though that is not supplied.

Assembly takes around five minutes, so it is ready to use almost as soon as it arrives. It carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings, and the combination of steel, aluminium and PMMA keeps it sturdy while staying light in the hand.
