Description

At just 30.6cm tall and 20cm in diameter, our Asteria Move portable lamp is small enough to move from room to room with one hand, weighing only 1.1kg. It is built around a flat disc top that sits on a slim stem over a round base, so the light spreads softly downward rather than glaring outward. The Pale Blue finish gives it a calm, muted look that settles easily onto a shelf, a bedside table or a kitchen worktop, and because there is no trailing cable in use, you can place it wherever you like the light to fall.

The built-in lithium-Ion battery is what makes this lamp so easy to live with. We include a USB-C cable and power adaptor in the box, and it will also charge on any Qi compatible wireless charger if you own one, though that is not supplied. There are four light steps to choose from: 5 lumen for a low glow that runs for 168 hours, 20 lumen for around 50 hours, 50 lumen for 20 hours, and 100 lumen for 10 hours. The LED panel is built in, with a CRI of 81 for a natural rendering of the colours around it. Assembly takes about five minutes, so it is ready to use almost as soon as it arrives.

Made from steel, aluminium and PMMA, the lamp is light without feeling flimsy, and it carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings. Please note it is rated for indoor use only, so we would keep it inside rather than out. The Asteria Move sits within our wider range, which also offers Polished steel, Polished Brass, Clay, Leaf, Nuance Mist, Sunflower and Butter Yellow, but this page sells the Pale Blue version.
