At just 25.5cm tall and 12cm in diameter, our Asteria Move Mini is a small portable lamp built to travel with you from room to room and out into the garden. It weighs a manageable 900g, so you can lift it with one hand and set it down wherever you need a soft pool of light. The flat disc top sits over a cylindrical Green Marble body, giving it a low, steady profile that suits a shelf, a windowsill or the middle of a dining table when the evening draws in.

This one genuinely goes anywhere. Rated IP44 and CE marked for both indoor and outdoor use, it copes with a covered patio or a shaded corner of the terrace as happily as it does a bedside table. The built-in lithium-Ion battery charges over the included USB-C cable and power adapter, and we have given it four brightness steps at a warm 2600K. Step one delivers 124 lumen for around 16 hours, dropping through 65 and 37 lumen to a gentle 7 lumen glow that runs for roughly 180 hours between charges. The built-in LED panel has a CRI of 92, so the marble and everything around it reads with honest, natural colour.

Built from steel, marble and ABS, it feels solid in the hand without being heavy, and each piece of marble carries its own veining, so no two are quite alike. Assembly takes about 5 minutes, which really means unboxing it and giving it a first charge before you settle it into place.
