Description

Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, our Asteria Long Wall Light is a slim, considered piece for the wall. A round wall plate anchors a long straight arm that reaches out to a flat circular disc shade, giving the lamp a clean horizontal line and a gentle sense of movement. We have finished it in a soft Pearl White with a Steel core, a pairing that sits quietly against most walls without competing for attention. A black fabric cable runs down from the wall plate to a plug, so this is a plug-in fitting that needs no rewiring to bring into use.

The proportions are compact, with a 15cm diameter disc and a height of 9cm, while the arm carries the light out to a depth of around 42cm. At just 804g, it is easy to position and secure, and we have kept assembly to roughly 10 minutes so you can have it up and lit the same afternoon. We think it works well beside a bed, flanking a mirror, or above a console where a downward pool of light is welcome. Should your circumstances change, please refer to the hardwire user guide for instructions on how to hardwire the Asteria, though as supplied it plugs straight into the mains with a 2.2m black cord.
