Description

Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, our Asteria Long Wall Light brings a clean, considered geometry to the wall. A round wall plate anchors the fitting, while a long straight arm reaches out to a flat circular disc shade that measures 15cm across. The finish here is black, a matt tone that keeps the lines quiet and lets the shape do the talking. At just 9cm high and 804g in weight, it sits close and light against the plaster, so we think of it as a lamp that gives you reach without bulk.

Because this is the plug-in version, a black fabric cable runs down from the wall plate to a plug, with 2.2m of cord included. That means no rewiring and no electrician: you fix the plate, route the cable and switch it on, with an assembly time of around 10 minutes. We like this arrangement beside a reading chair, above a console or over a bedside table where a socket is close to hand. The built-in 12W LED panel gives a warm 2700K and 500 lumen, and because the lamp is dimmable you can bring the level down for the evening. With a CRI of 91, colours in the room read true under it.
